In European and national research projects, I deal with mobile and web-based solutions for the application areas health and care, sport and exercise as well as prevention and rehabilitation.

My research interests are on:

• Augmented & mixed reality applications (AR/MR): Development of remote support services for mobile care using AI services
• Analyzing sensor data: Sensor data analysis (with AI methods) for the provision of monitoring services, e.g. movement data monitoring
• Analysis of usage data: analysis of automatically, semi-automatically and manually generated usage data, supplemented by AI methods, for the evaluation of field studies
• Social robotics: use of social robots with vulnerable groups such as older people to offer support in various situations
• User-centred system development: development of information and communication technologies with the involvement of (future) users in order to achieve the best possible usability and user experience
