Abstract
A holistic multiscale model covering phenomena from total furnace to details within each sintering part will be presented. The covered scales are the entire furnace chamber with its heat sources and racks, the individual sintering parts being exposed to transient heat flow, down to shrinkage and distortion of
individual sintering parts. Generally, all presented simulation approaches are capable to be run in a DOE mode in order to evaluate the effect of an experimental field of process parameters on sintering parts being exposed to various heat charges.
