N2 - FOTEC Forschungs- und Technologietransfer GmbH has been actively developing diagnostic equipment for electric thrusters, including Faraday Cups (FCs), for several years. The evolution of this technology began with the development of Analog FCs, followed by performance improvements through the introduction of Digital FCs, and further innovation with the design and testing of a Digital FC Array. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the technology, highlighting key results obtained from various devices over the years. These findings have contributed to valuable lessons learned, driving continuous improvements in performance.
