Loop It!

The project “Loop It! – 1 Year of Plastics” provides children and young people with a holistic understanding of the circular economy using plastics as an example. In age-appropriate, hands-on workshops, students gain insights into scientific and technical research fields such as materials science, recycling technologies, and circular design. The aim is to develop a sustainable teaching and learning concept that enables schools to permanently integrate the topics of resource conservation, plastics recycling, and environmental awareness into their curriculum.

Das Projekt „Loop It! – 1 Year of Plastics“ vermittelt Kindern und Jugendlichen ein ganzheitliches Verständnis von Kreislaufwirtschaft am Beispiel von Kunststoffen. In altersgerechten, praxisorientierten Workshops gewinnen Schüler:innen Einblicke in naturwissenschaftliche und technische Forschungsfelder wie Materialkunde, Recyclingtechnologien und zirkuläres Design. Ziel ist es, ein nachhaltiges Lehr- und Lernkonzept zu entwickeln, das Schulen befähigt, die Themen Ressourcenschonung, Kunststoffverwertung und Umweltbewusstsein dauerhaft in den Unterricht zu integrieren.
